| guess what? i got another flat tire on my way to school today :/ and it just so happened that today was the day my parents left for their little vacation.. i had just exited mccarren airport from the 215. i'm familiar with the sounds of flat tires from experience so when i'm changing lanes, it's really loud when i go over those little white things. i'm looking for a spot to pullover and finally do. what's weird is that this time, it wasn't the passenger rear, it was the front.. i call rj who lives pretty far and i decide to try to do it myself. i really need to learn how to change a tire. i take everything out of the back, including the spare. i don't mind getting down and dirty :) teehee and i figure out where the jack goes. as i'm trying to take the bolts off, i notice the pool truck that had just pulled over in front of me. thank God!!! "i saw you trying to take out your spare, and bless you for trying!" bulky oldish white guy helped me. he got it done in like 15-20 minutes. "if my daughter had a flat tire, i'd hope someone would pull over and help her." i didn't know what to say other than thank him a million times. i think i'll send him a thank you card and something i dunno. | | |
| sorry xanga oh how i've neglected you
nothing new going on. im just waiting for rj to get out of math while i play gostop in the computer lab :D i'm addicted and from playing it, i know not to gamble for real because i suck. this semester is going okay so far. i'm taking macroeconomics, history of rock, geology (plus the lab), and IS. trying to get my millennium scholarship back this semester so don't want to take difficult classes. the hardest one is probably macro. i've missed 3 classes so far. i should've known better than to take an 8:30 am class. my friend told me this teacher is awesome, which he is, and he only has an 8:30 am class o.O it's amazing how much energy he has.
it's finally starting to get cooler in vegas. it's been really windy the past couple days. it was even sprinkling at school today. no more 100+ degree weather. at night, it's actually getting down to high 70s which is awesome for vegas. i can't wait for winter!!! i want to go snowboarding and just improve. i think i should buy a helmet and other safety gear. last time i tried the rail and kept slipping off to the side and miserably failed once.. i fell back onto the rail with my tailbone hitting it @#^@#$%#$% it's almost as bad as falling on your butt really hard and getting that butthole-on-fire feeling. this season, lee canyon went under some major renovations so if for some reason i can't go to brianhead, this will have to do.
o haha i must write about work :) i still work at express.. end of october i'll be working there for 2 years!!!! omg i almost died when i realized i worked there for a year. i just love the ppl i get to work with and they won't fire me haha no matter what i do. we finally got a new store opening up soon at town square [NOT CENTER, that's in summerlin], next to fry's, you can't miss it. it's gonna be like the district but better. stores, restaurants, lofts/apartments/condos, and a movie theatre. one of my co-managers just got promoted to store manager for the new store and is gonna fight to take me with her haha. makes me feel like i'm finally worth something. i've been waiting for like a year and a half for a promotion and maybe i'll finally be getting one.
halloween is coming up soon. what to be?? last halloween was lame ;p this year must be great. any costume ideas? it still bugs me how girls just dress slutty. halloween is an excuse for girls to be whores pretty much. you can still have a great costume without your butt and whatnot hanging out. i just think they have no creativity. mine is gonna be super awesome. just you wait...
im supposed to be studying for my macro exam while i wait for rj but i'm already tired to begin with. once i open my book i'll probably pass out. back to more gostop. play with me on ijji!!! [ms_huh]

| because i've had 6 flat tires, i'm pretty paranoid about every little
noise i hear when i drive. the other day it was really bad so i had my
dad drive my car to work the next day to make sure everything was ok.
of course he doesn't hear anything ugh whatever! the next day as my
parents are leaving for work, my mom says 'we have bad news'.. so i'm
like what are you talking about.. then my dad says 'someone hit your
car at work'.. ?!?!?!?! @$%^##$!#$@#$^ someone hit my car while my dad
was at work.. sigh hit and run suck!! this would be my second one : /
the @#$^@ hit the rear of the driver's side. i dunno how hard they
managed to hit it but there's a hole o.O so to all those who like to
hit cars and just leave, think of me. seriously after experiencing
this TWICE i don't think i would just hit a stranger's car and
not leave a note or wait for them. it sucks. so don't do it!!!!!!!

| how hot must your vehicle be in order for a can of soda to explode? or rather look like someone opened it with a can opener?
i started summer school this week.. totally sucks. feels like i haven't been to school in forever! i feel so out of it. i hate being in class while the teacher just lectures.. blahblahblah. anyways, i've been parking in the garage so far this week. i learned my lesson last summer school when parking at thomas and mack drained my car battery. well i was in a rush today and parking outside was closer to my class. i have a sun visor but they doesn't do much for vegas weather. i had a pepsi in the passenger seat. i had class at 1pm and left my car there since i hung out with rj til 10pm. looks like someone splashed something on the passenger window so i touch it from the outside and nothing.. open the door and wooooooooooooow. the pepsi, i'm assuming, exploded from the heat! as soon as i got home, cleaned it with some clorox and armorall wipes for like an hour.
don't leave a can of soda or anything carbonated in your vehicle during the summer

| the best time to think is right before you go to bed which sometimes
leads to insomnia. it's peaceful, letting all the stress out, and gives
you time to reflect on the entire day and think about the next day.
with school coming to an end, i feel disappointed. i definitely did not
do as well as i
had hoped. fall semester was horrible but at least this semester, i
didn't drop any classes. i would have for sure if i didn't miss the
deadline.. and i guess i was "determined." school really sucks. i've
hated it always. maybe it's just not for me?? but my dream career adds
about 8 more years of school.. wonderful. i've got to say being a
business major sucks. the academic advisors are no help whatsoever
which may totally screw you in the end. i don't want to waste my time
and money taking the wrong classes. i want to graduate on time if not
sooner. i'd love to study abroad and experience some new things. unlv
is pretty boring. i love my friends and the people i see everyday but
new things are nice too.
i still work at express... that is when i show up or my shifts. all i
do is fashion delivery anyways. that's when other stores don't have
something in a specific size or color and send the order to fulfillment
- high volume - stores. i get to work at 7 am
8ish, organize the orders, and pick out all the crap. it's just like a
bunch of stock checks. step 2 - ring everything up. step 3 - wrap it,
box it. step 4 - fax and call orders filled and not filled. done. easy
right? i just hate working. too bad i can't win the lottery. never
having to work again. i dont' have to work, but then i won't have money
to spend on the things i want which is difficult. i love shopping and
eating. i'm planning on getting a job at a casino as like front desk or
something so when i turn 21 i can work at a club. the one yr experience
of working in a casino should look good on my resume. then i'll get to
hook all you guys up.. yea~ uh huh so be nice :D teehee...
only 2 days til my birthday!!!.. yay 20 is gonna be boring. just
waiting for 21.. not like i'm not already.. but then it'll be legal :)
because of stupid finals week, i have to delay my birthday celebration.
this is why i hate spring semester. i'm not very big on gifts. i just
love having everyone together to celebrate.
summer is gonna be wonderful. gotta throw cali beaches in there before
summer school :/ i don't wanna fall behind and need to try to get
ahead. history of rock for session 2 and philosophy 102 for session 3.
if you need to take those classes too lemme know. take em with me. or
if you have the books, may i borrow? please and thank you. why can't
books just be free like high school? it's ridiculous to pay $50+ for
books that you'll only be using for a semester. i hate reading. puts me
to sleep in like 5 minutes. isn't it annoying when you reread the same
thing like a million times and still don't get it??? i wish i was just
born a genius or loved to learn. people who love school freak me out.
so my sister is still in korea which is cool. it's weird. i haven't
seen her in forever. i miss her but then i don't. she's always out
anyways but now it's like starting to feel like i don't have a sister..
like i'll forget. i'm sorry!!! but i mean i don't get to talk to her
everyday and not seeing her everyday makes it worse. i bet she looks
like a total fob now.. ugh that's all i see at school. as soon as i'm
done with graduate school, if i can't get study abroad, i plan on
living in korea for a year. i love the food and just wanna improve my
korean. my english isn't perfect and i'm trying to learn japanese...
korean is way more important. i feel so embarrassed when i speak korean
because it's worse than little kids. i hope i don't get fat. last time
all i ate was fried food... i can't help it. it's my favorite.
so what's up with me.. hmm anything new? no not really. still same ol
me. no more pink hair. trying to get back to the long hair. ugh so yea.
this entry seems kinda weird.. i dunno. it's my xanga and i'll do
whatever i want. it's just 4am and i don't feel like sleeping yet or
studying.. my brain is burnt out. this is kinda productive right?
owell.... good luck to everyone on finals. school sucks but we can make
it! hang in there.. i'll be more like dangling. all you gotta think
is.. in the end, it'll all be worth it.. i hope so.. i love school.. i
love school....
